WELCOME TO THE
BLUESKY-N-WATER
FLIPSHIELD STORE

THE INSULATED FLIP SHIELD FROM BLUESKYNWATER, made in the USA

An insulated shield will noticeably protect your face from wind chill and will reduce radio communication microphone noice dramatically when used with a communications style helmet system pictured above. The soft, wetsuite type, lined neoprene is extremely comfortable against your face.

The shield will attach on a three snap helmet and it is strongly recommended that a few few drops of blue threadlocker liquid be used in each snap to prevent accidental detachment.

CAUTION NOTICE

Never move about or operate any type of vehicle or any device while a flip shield you are wearing is fogged. The shields have a fog resistant coating from the manufacturer, however under some conditions THEY WILL FOG UP. Any movement or operation with no visibility, limited or poor visibility is extremely dangerous. Children must be under constant supervision of a RESPONSIBLE adult when using the shield. In addition the insulator can limit visibility to your immediate lower front and great care should be taken, to view things in that area that must be monitored for safety.

Never use the shield attached to a helmet with damaged or worn snap attachments or the incorrect size snaps. Any attachment of the shield to a helmet with less than all three snaps firmly in place, the shield WILL come apart from the helmet and loss of the shield and equipment loss and  personal injury can result. Attachment of a new shield can be difficult and may require two people to accomplish correctly. Be certain it is done correctly and check for complete, three snap attachment, each and every time you use the shield attached to a helmet. For high speeds the shield should be attached with screws to the helmet.
